Position Overview

We are hiring Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Designers to support HVAC and mechanical building-system design. Work with a multidisciplinary team on new construction and renovation projects, from design development through construction documents. Engineering, modeling, calculation, and coordination responsibilities will reflect your experience and the position that best matches your background.

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW), Texas.

Office locations: Dallas, Texas; Fort Worth, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop HVAC system concepts, heating and cooling load calculations, ventilation requirements, and equipment selections.
  • Prepare duct and piping designs, equipment schedules, specifications, and supporting calculations.
  • Contribute to coordinated Revit models and construction documents with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams.
  • Evaluate design options for performance, maintainability, energy efficiency, and applicable code requirements.
  • Support quality reviews, site observations, submittal reviews, and responses to construction questions.
  • Communicate design decisions, priorities, and progress to the project team.

Required Experience

  • 2–10 years of relevant mechanical engineering or HVAC building-system design experience.

Preferred Qualifications

The following are helpful, but are not additional application requirements:

  • Technical training or a degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, or a related educational background.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load-calculation or energy-analysis software.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and energy codes and relevant ASHRAE standards.
  • EIT certification or PE licensure is a plus; licensure is not an application requirement.
  • Strong technical communication, organization, and interdisciplinary coordination skills.
