Position Overview
An Electrical Engineer with at least four years of experience is needed to support a consulting engineering team on a diverse range of building and facility projects. This full-time, fully remote role focuses on electrical building systems design, with a strong emphasis on Revit and the use of AutoCAD as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial buildings and other facility types.
- Prepare construction drawings, plans, specifications, and design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform electrical design calculations and resolve technical design challenges.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and other disciplines.
- Support project coordination and respond to project and client needs.
- Apply applicable electrical codes, engineering standards, and design practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least four years of relevant electrical engineering or design experience.
- Experience with building systems and MEP projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and design practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continued technical and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Revit experience, which will receive significant consideration.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
