The Revit Manager will be responsible for overseeing Revit standards, templates, content libraries, workflows, and project model quality. This position will work closely with our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering teams to ensure Revit is being used efficiently, consistently, and accurately across projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on Revit/BIM experience, preferably within an MEP engineering, architectural, or AEC consulting environment. This individual should be technically strong in Autodesk Revit while also being comfortable supporting and training other team members, troubleshooting model issues, and improving company-wide BIM processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company-wide Revit/BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain Revit families, libraries, project templates, schedules, and other BIM content.
  • Support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams in the effective use of Revit throughout project design and documentation.
  • Establish and enforce consistent Revit modeling and documentation standards across projects.
  • Perform model reviews and quality-control checks to identify modeling, coordination, and documentation issues.
  • Assist project teams with project setup, model organization, worksharing, linking, and coordination.
  • Troubleshoot Revit performance, modeling, family, template, and workflow issues.
  • Coordinate Revit models with architectural, structural, and other consultant models.
  • Support BIM coordination and clash-detection processes as required.
  • Train and mentor employees on Revit workflows, tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop internal Revit documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve modeling efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • Assist with Revit software upgrades and implementation of new BIM tools and workflows.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, project managers, and company leadership to continuously improve BIM capabilities.
  • Maintain model integrity and ensure project teams follow established BIM standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional Revit/BIM experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Revit templates, families, libraries, and company standards.
  • Understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, worksharing, linked models, and project setup.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to review models and identify inconsistencies, modeling issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers, designers, and other team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and support requests simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working for an MEP engineering consulting firm, architecture firm, or other AEC organization.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they are modeled and documented in Revit.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary Revit models.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks, or similar BIM coordination platforms.
  • Experience creating and managing complex Revit families.
  • Familiarity with Dynamo or other Revit automation tools is a plus.
  • Previous experience training or supporting Revit users is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with BIM execution plans, model standards, and quality-control procedures.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is someone who combines strong technical Revit knowledge with an understanding of how engineering teams actually use BIM to deliver projects. You should enjoy solving technical problems, improving inefficient processes, developing standards, and helping other team members become more effective Revit users.

This role is well suited for an experienced Revit/BIM professional who wants to take ownership of an organization's Revit environment and have a meaningful impact on how projects are designed and delivered.
